Overview

These Terms govern your use of StateMatcher, including its website, checkout flows, questionnaires, shared account features, digital reports, optional print fulfillment, and related services. By using StateMatcher, you agree to these Terms.

StateMatcher is a FlagSeek company. FlagSeek provides shared account access, payment processing, questionnaires, report generation, delivery, optional print fulfillment, customer support, and related infrastructure.

What StateMatcher provides

StateMatcher provides personalized U.S. relocation intelligence designed to help customers identify, investigate, compare, and plan around states, regions, cities, towns, and community types. Reports may include questionnaire-based analysis, tradeoff explanations, practical issue-spotting, and planning guidance.

Reports are decision-support tools, not legal, tax, medical, financial, insurance, real-estate, employment, educational, or other licensed professional advice.

Verify important information

You should verify material decisions with qualified professionals, official agencies, insurers, healthcare providers, school systems, employers, and relevant state or local authorities. Laws, taxes, costs, insurance availability, healthcare access, public programs, hazards, housing markets, and other conditions can change.

Your information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information in questionnaires, checkout forms, account fields, and other submissions. The usefulness of a personalized report depends on the information available to generate it.

Purchases, payments, and delivery

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Prices, features, promotional terms, refund policies, and estimated timing may change prospectively. Digital reports are delivered through the shared FlagSeek account and report system.

Bound copies are optional unless expressly stated otherwise. Print, binding, shipping, taxes, reprints, and physical fulfillment may be separately priced and are subject to third-party production and delivery conditions.

Accounts and access

StateMatcher uses shared FlagSeek account access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and limiting access to reports that may contain personal, household, health-planning, financial-planning, or relocation information.

Partner Program

Eligible digital products offered under both the FlagSeek and StateMatcher brands may participate in the FlagSeek Partner Program. The standard commission rate is 40% of eligible net revenue unless a different rate is assigned in writing or through a partner account.

Partner coupon codes may be used with eligible FlagSeek and StateMatcher digital products. Eligible net revenue excludes print, binding, shipping, fulfillment, taxes, refunds, reprints, chargebacks, fraud, self-referrals, and physical-delivery add-ons unless expressly stated otherwise.

Either party may terminate the partner relationship unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise. Previously earned commissions remain subject to normal review, payout, refund, chargeback, tax, compliance, and fraud-prevention rules.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse StateMatcher, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer restricted systems, submit unlawful or harmful content, or violate applicable law or the rights of others.

Intellectual property and personal use

StateMatcher reports, designs, text, report structures, software, branding, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws. A purchased report may be used for personal or household relocation planning. No broader reproduction, resale, publication, or commercial distribution is granted.

AI-assisted reports and changing information

StateMatcher may use artificial intelligence and supporting software to draft, organize, personalize, and render reports. Automated systems and source material can be incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or mistaken. You remain responsible for independently verifying material facts before acting.

No guarantee of outcomes

StateMatcher does not guarantee that any state, location, program, job market, healthcare option, insurance product, housing option, tax outcome, safety condition, or moving plan will remain available, accurate, affordable, suitable, or successful.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StateMatcher, FlagSeek, and their owners, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, relocation costs, or decisions made in reliance on a report.

Aggregate liability arising from a paid product will not exceed the amount paid for that product, excluding third-party printing, shipping, taxes, or fulfillment amounts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
